CORSICA & SARDINIA YACHT CHARTERS
Separated by a little over ten kilometres at the Strait of Bonifacio, Corsica and Sardinia may be part of France and Italy respectively but along with a proud, vibrant culture both share spectacular stretches of secluded coastline only accessible by sailing, which have made these two islands must visit destinations on any yacht charter in the Mediterranean.
DAY 1 - AJACCIO, CORSICA
A smorgasbord of Corsican specialities - such as charcuterie, cheese and wine - prepared by your yacht chef will be awaiting you as you board your motor or sailing yacht charter in Ajaccio, the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte and Corsica’s capital.
DAY 2 – AJACCIO TO BONIFACIO
The cruise into Bonifacio is one of the highlights of any Mediterranean yacht charter. Majestic limestone cliffs rise out of the ocean form a gateway into Corsica’s oldest town. From the port, explore the old town perched atop.
DAY 3 – BONIFACIO TO LA MADDALENA ARCHIPELAGO
Located between Corsica and Sardinia, La Maddalena Archipelago is a world-renowned National Park. Drop anchor and make use of the toys onboard, swim in the tranquil waters or simply relax on deck and enjoy special features such as the Jacuzzi.
DAY 4 – LA MADDALENA ARCHIPELAGO TO PORTO CERVO
As your yacht Captain sails towards Porto Cervo, start the day with a healthy breakfast and perhaps even a spa treatment. Founded by The Aga Khan in 1967, the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in Porto Cervo is the superyacht hub on the island and the gateway to the sublime Costa Smerelda (Emerald Coast).
DAY 5 – PORTO CERVO TO PORTO ROTONDO
Saving the best to last, Porto Rotondo is a slice of paradise on the Sardinian coast. Spend your last day on board your yacht charter sipping on fresh fruit cocktails and dipping in and out of the calm turquoise waters before settling in for Champagne and caviar to end a luxury yacht vacation to remember.
